The role of residential care homes

Residential care homes play a crucial role in the lives of many. With increasing age, comes increasing needs that must be tended to. At Forest Brow, we happily fulfil this role.

Residential care homes as a safe place

It is in the name that residential care homes are indeed homes. Transitioning into a new home is unsettling at first, but care homes ensure the warmest welcome and comfort to make this process the easiest possible. As a new home, familiarity and comfort increases exponentially and residents are made to feel part of and at home. With constant care and supervision whenever is needed, residential care homes create a complete sense of security and comfort that is unmatched during later life.

A trusted place of residency at our residential care home

With a dedicated, lovely staff team and a drive to improve our services, our home is certainly trusted. With decades of experience, we pride ourselves in our security and focus on the residents and their needs. We always put residents first and have created a close-knit community that allows for trust and a sense of security to develop and be maintained. With up to 32 residents living with us at any one time, we can ensure that our carers are wholly looking out for everyone and offering the highest level of care.

The close-knit community we foster

With residents tending to spend all of their time within our residential care home, a key component of our care is building a community. With dining and activities creating opportunities for relationships to develop, this community is maintained. Internal and external activities and organised by our excellent activities coordinator who works tirelessly. We wish to maximise the opportunity and enjoyment of all residents when they are staying with us, and by integrating them into a close-knit community we can ensure this, making them feel safe and at home.
