Our care is built around the residents
At Forest Brow, with our collective of welcoming, caring and understanding staff we make all decisions carefully, regarding the residents as our first priority. It is for this reason that each resident is designated a key worker, allowing for continuous support and welfare provision with the home. This will allow for the maximal experience, with attention focused on the needs of those you love. We provide the best care that we can through tailoring the experience for each individual resident. We are always looking to serve their needs, not ours.
Within our home we have specialised dementia care, promoting well-being in our homely environment. This allows us to support each resident with their unique needs. We are looking to integrate every resident within the way of life at our home, making them feel at their most comfortable.
Flexible
Our services are flexible, offering day care, respite stays, and long-term accommodation options to cater to various needs. Be sure to get into contact with us and we can discuss the direct conditions that will be best suited to a possible resident. We are happy to talk you through our various different options regarding staying here with us at our residential care home. We are keen to help, and constantly work towards catering to diverse preferences.
Award-winning staff
Manager and Carer of the Year are examples of awards our staff have received, highlighting their skill and ability to enhance the environment of our residential home. Not only are we proud of these achievements, but we are keen to reflect this ability back onto how it benefits our residents. The recognition of the excellence of the care provided by those that enrich the residential home evidences the quality of our services to every resident. Our staff are there for the residents – to care, nurture and aid their every move. Daily, our staff will focus on bettering the well-being and experience of our residents as they settle and grow within the home. We can guarantee the highest-level care, both through these awards and through the experiences and reviews received from family members of residents.
Looking away from the awards, our staff are also well-trained. We have a majority of staff trained to at least a Level 3 diploma in care, with some reaching levels 4 and 5. As part of our drive towards bettering our care; we also ensure that additional courses are undertaken to further enhance the experience within our residential care home.
Reviews of our home
The statement of “My mother has settled in well” brings light onto my description of the welcoming we provide. The environment within our residential home is built all around those within it, and so is directed towards welcoming each new resident. We ensure that individual needs are met, allowing for a seamless transition into a new life within the home.
Another review stated that “It is wonderful to be able to leave my Mum after a visit and know she is safe and cared for”. This statement almost encapsulates the goal of our home – to make every resident feel at home. As we primarily care for individuals who are no longer able to live at home independently or with their families, it is vital that we create this feeling. As described in this review, it is clear that we fulfil this vitality, and will continue to provide only our best support as we continue to attend to each unique need.
Close-knit and welcoming
With a capacity to house up to 32 residents, we maintain a community in which everyone feels supported and valued. As previously mentioned, this does involve staff efforts, but the physical environment itself also contributed to this feeling.
We ensure that not just every individual thrives independently – but that the residents thrive together as a community. By fostering this welcoming environment, we build friendships that last a lifetime.
Rooms enhancing comfort
All of our rooms are single occupancy, allowing for personal space and comfort. With rooms on offer that have en-suite facilities, we ensure that the residents are offered the best living space for them. Our priority remains the residents within every component of our care home.
