One-to-one

Each resident has a carer assigned to them in order to enable individualism and targeted care throughout the whole of the stay. This also enables familiarity and greater comfort within the home. No matter the residents wishes, our carers are placed practically to ensure the best experience for each resident. This ensures high-quality care and also makes it feel more homely as no patient is left in isolation for extended periods of time, and can receive attentive care at every moment, suited to them. We also offer specialised care for dementia patients if this is something that is necessary, and are keen to welcome those with many differing needs.

24-Hour care

We have varying options regarding care at our residential care home, but no matter how long your loved one is residing with us we can ensure that they will have access to care constantly. Making it feel like a home environment, the residents are looked after both day and night, so that they can feel valued and cared for at all times. This is important to us as we wish for them to feel at home and seen by us, so that they can fully enjoy their experience here.

Physical environment of our care home

Our residential care home carries what it is titled – a homely environment. With a layout mirroring that of a home, our residents feel exactly as if they are in that environment. This produces a welcoming atmosphere ideal for long-term stays as each individual integrates into the community which we have created at Forest Brow. With the capacity to house up to 32 residents, this is a close-knit environment with attentive care consistently provided at a high standard.

Diverse range of room availability

Our boutique-style rooms are designed to feel homely, and serve to fulfil that initial impression. Every room is single occupancy to allow for the most comfort and accessibility for each resident. Many rooms also encapsulate en-suite facilities, so dependent on your demands we will tailor the experience of your loved one to fit their unique needs.

Outside area

With a veranda and some greenery surrounding the home, which is sometimes enjoyed through dining outside, the externalities of the home create a fostering environment and further the homely feel. On these occasions, the social meal times is nurturing and allows for greater enjoyment of the surrounding beauty as well as the experience within the care home. The outside area contributes to the overall welcoming that we achieve through our environment.

The variety of activities within our residential care home

We know and appreciate the importance of activity as a means of enjoyment within our home. We regularly host in-house entertainment, and include seasonal events to bring the residents together and provide opportunities to enjoy new experiences.

We have an incredible activities coordinator, who ensures that our residential care home involves outings to the local area, so that your loved one gets to explore their surroundings and feel even more at home.

It is for this reason that each resident is designated a key worker, allowing for continuous support and welfare provision with the home. We ensure that individual needs are met, allowing for a seamless transition into a new life within the home.
